- Das Papier sollte ein Papier für Wasserfarben sein, nur dann könnt die Farben miteinander vermischen.
- Das Mischen von Farben und die Verwendung verschiedener Farben innerhalb desselbens Tones erzeugt sehr schöne Effekte.
- Das Hinzufügen von Metallicfarben verleiht Gemälden Glanz
